In CNC production, proper geometrical indexing is paramount. This criticality of alignment necessitates sub-millimeter precision. Deviations greater than a fraction of a degree or a tenth of a millimeter can result in poor fit, visual malformations, or, at worst, a broken CNC router.
Therefore, properly designed CNC fixtures and mounts are indispensable. Below are some pictures of 3D-printed mounts that have been used throughout production.
