To expedite the manufacturing of TO-9s, this device was created to align the laser components with the protective caps for SemiNex Corporation. These caps serve as a barrier between the outside world and the delicate laser semiconductor, so proper alignment and adhesion are paramount to the product’s durability and longevity. Hence, this device was designed to enforce the concentricity of the TO-9 to the cap and allow the adhesive to cure.
